French Movie Night was a success!

Many people came and enjoyed the showing of "Samba" at Lincoln-Sudbury High School.

This past Friday night, the French Cinema classes at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School hosted their 3rd annual French Movie Night. About 100 people came to see “Samba,” a César nominated dramatic-romantic-comedy. Before viewing the film, guests enjoyed free food and a lovely concert by Lincoln-Sudbury’s Jazz Band. The guests then watched “Samba” with English subtitles and enjoyed the rest of their night. Though the event was free, many donations were made to the French charity: “9 éléves,” an organization that raises money for Haitian children education. The event was a success thanks to MJ Galano and the Lincoln-Sudbury French students, and they hope for another successful event next year!
