In the third set, the Warriors took advantage of some key miscues by Acton-Boxboro. L-S won only 10 out of 25 points on its serve, the fewest out of all three sets. But the Warriors' strong game at the net proved pivotal.
Lindsey Jones capped off a monster afternoon with four kills and four service points. Natalie Wohl added a spark with three kills to help win the set.
"A-B is very well coached. We knew they had real potential and real strong hitters," said head coach Judy Katalina. "Knowing that about them, we came out ready to play," she added.

In the second set, Alex Braverman led the L-S attack with five service points and six kills.
Kelley White and Jones also provided a spark with six points each.
"Lindsey [Jones] was hitting the ball real hard. All our girls can," said Katalina. "When they are confident, that is when they generate the arm strength to hit the ball hard."
Not only does their head coach stress the importance of "team," but her players do as well.
"We support each other and make sure everyone is happy," said Braverman, whose play was the driving force in the match. "We keep a positive attitude and don't get down on ourselves. We are mentally tough."
A strong first set is what set the tone for the entire afternoon. The Warriors had 16 kills in addition to winning 16 points on their serve. Braverman began her exceptional afternoon early in the match, accounting for 14 points, six of them coming on her serve.
"It is fun out there, and we have a really good attitude," said Braverman. "We have NP [next point] on our hands to keep us focused."
"We came out ready to play. We are always relaxed," said Katalina. "I am very pleased with how everyone played. I was able to get everyone on the court today and at any given time, no matter who is on the court, I know they were prepared."
The Warriors will attempt to stay unbeaten when they travel to play Boston Latin on Wednesday.
