SUDBURY, MA — Sudbury's Goodnow Library will pause in-person programs over the next two weeks during a major rise in coronavirus cases.

Massachusetts set a new daily record for coronavirus cases on Thursday, and health officials believe cases will continue to rise in the coming weeks following holiday celebrations.

The Goodnow's pause includes both children's and adult programs. Remote programming will continue.

"With the data showing an increase in COVID-19 cases, it's prudent that we pause to ensure everyone in our Goodnow family remains safe," Library Director Esmé Green said in a news release Monday.

Goodnow patrons can check the library calendar for information about specific programs, or call (978) 440-5540 (children's programs) or (978) 440-5520 (adult and teen programs).
