Gun Shots Heard, Pump-and-Go and More From the Sudbury Police Log

The following information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

The following was reported by the Sudbury Police Department during the weekend of March 2-3:

  • A caller on Lynne Road reported seeing something suspicious at a house that was supposed to be vacant. Responding officers checked the home and secured the doors. Nothing criminal was found.
  • The owner of Sudbury Lumber reported seeing footsteps going toward the business. Nothing criminal was found.
  • A resident on Maynard Farm Road reported hearing gunshots. Responding officers checked the area but found nothing criminal.
  • An employee at the Gulf Station reported someone drove off without paying for gas. The person was tracked down and the bill was paid. The person was not charged with a crime.
  • Officers conducted a follow-up to larceny reports at an extended care facility on Boston Post Road.
  • Someone reported an illegal dumping outside the town dump.
