He Literally Took the Shirt Off His Back
A stranger handed over his shirt when a baby was born on the side of the road in Newton.
It does happen. It turns out, there are folks out there who really will give you the shirt off their back.
On Sunday evening, when a couple pulled over in Newton as the woman gave birth, a stranger took his shirt off to help keep the newborn warm, reported the Boston Globe. He stayed there until paramedics arrived.
But the couple, who are from West Roxbury, doesn’t know who the good samaritan was, and wishes to find out. After a healthy baby girl was born, the couple rushed to the hospital, and the stranger went off into the night.
