Housebreak, Larceny Reported on Dutton Road

A resident on Dutton Road was a victim of an alleged housebreak and larceny on April 9.

According to Sudbury Police Lt. Scott Nix, someone gained entry into the home through a side door.

A list of items taken was not available as of April 10.

  • A person walked in to the station to report seeing hypodermic needles near the entrance of a Union Avenue business. The responding officer found the needles and properly disposed of them.
  • A Newbridge Road resident reported an ongoing domestic dispute with his ex-wife. After interviewing the resident, officers determined nothing criminal took place and he was advised of methods to resolve the matter.
  • Officers were dispatched to Nobscot Road for a report of a two-car accident. No injuries were reported and one car was towed.
  • An Old County Road resident reported receiving threats from her ex-husband. After interviewing the resident it was deemed a report wasn't necessary.
  • A Garrison House Lane resident reported his lamp post had been vandalized. It's believed the damage was done by a car. The case is under investigation.
