L-H Teams Win at the Blue Lobster Bowl

The teams from the high school did well in this regional tournament.

Three teams from Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School competed Saturday, Feb. 28, at MIT at the regional tournament of the National Ocean Sciences Bowl, otherwise known as the “Blue Lobster Bowl.”

The A Team, made up of five 12th graders, won third place.

“After a brilliant run of five preliminary matches, the L-S students were seeded #1 among the final eight teams going into single elimination rounds and lost a close match in the semi-finals,” said the press release. “The B and C teams performed well and gained valuable experience for next year. The tournament is the culmination of months of hard work and dedication by the students who have given up their Friday afternoons for practice as well as many hours of private study.”
