L-S Girls Relay Team Places 2nd in New Englands
The 4x800 squad notched a season-best time of 9:18.01

The girls 4x800 relay team continued it’s successful string of performances with a strong race against stiff competition at the Reggie Lewis center on Friday night.
Competing in the New England Indoor Track & Field Championship meet, L-S ran a season-best time of 9:18.01 while placing second to La Salle Academy (R.I.) La Salle dazzled the Reggie Center crowd with a winning time of 9:07.28. - third fastest time in the country this season. The L-S team of Meri Kohler, Brianna Bisson, Madison Acton and Marik Crowe notched the 13th-fastest time in the country this season (ninth fastest all-time the state) with the runner-up finish.

“The girls have run very hard the last three weeks and this evening’s race was another fine performance,” he said.
The LS girls relay will travel to New York this weekend to compete in the New Balance Indoor National Track & Field meet in New York City. Marika Crowe will also compete in the 800M event.
