L-S High School V-Ball Wins MIAA Title
Lincoln-Sudbury beat Framingham to claim the sectional title.

The Lincoln-Sudbury boys’ volleyball team beat Framingham on Thursday to win the MIAA Central sectional title, reported the Boston Globe.
The team played four sets, with scores of 25-15, 25-20, 15-25, 25-20, at Newton South High.
Senior outside hitter Andrei Rakitin had 14 kills, 3 service aces and 5 blocks for the Warriors. Senior Isaac Elder also had five blocks and six kills.

The Warriors will move on to play the undefeated Needham team in the state semifinals on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Wellesley High
L-S, seeded third, went into the tournament with a season record of 15-3, and Framingham’s was 13-6 and seeded at number 9.
