LETTER TO THE EDITOR: My Vote is for Matthew Barach
Dr. Peter Masiakos, a Sudbury resident, says the SPS Committee would benefit have Barach as a member.

I believe that Matthew Barach is the best candidate for Sudbury Public Schools School Committee. My wife and I have lived in Sudbury for approximately eight years. We have two sons. Our oldest child is in 4th grade at Haynes Elementary School, and our youngest will start kindergarten in the fall of 2014.
Like many, we were attracted to Sudbury because of the excellence of the public school system. As parents of two young children, we have a vested interest in ensuring that SPS can continue to provide high quality education in a financially sustainable manner, especially in the current economic climate.
As this time of privation takes more out of our school systems, we need a voice of reason who will build bridges rather than walls between administrators, teachers and parents in order to continue to provide the best education possible for our children.

Matt is committed to bringing people together to ensure the quality of education that our town delivers. Matt has often spoken to me of how highly he values the close community culture of Sudbury and indeed he is strongly committed to our town. He is a parent of two elementary school children, a town soccer coach, and a member of the Land Acquisition Review Committee. He is trained as an attorney, and stresses the need for a conciliatory and collaborative approach to administrative matters.
This is exactly the approach we need from a School Committee member. I am confident that Matt will make responsible, well informed decisions regarding our children's educational needs as a member of the School Committee.
