LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Support Our Cause
Sudbury resident Michael Reinhorn is campaigning to reduce gun violence.

Citizens for Sensible Gun Policy (C4SGP) is a grass-roots movement that was started by a group of Sudbury parents, deeply moved by the Newtown tragedy.
In our country, an average of 87 people die every day as a result of gun violence. Of those, 8 are children; that is one classroom every 3 days! Since Newtown, firearms have claimed 3,099 lives. The massacre has repeated itself 110 times!
C4SGP’s mission is to educate folks about the public health crisis of gun violence, to advocate for political action that will reduce gun fatalities, and to shift a culture that tolerates and in many ways promotes gun violence, to one that focuses on safety and responsibility. We work with many different groups of concerned citizens as part of a Massachusetts campaign to reduce gun violence and we welcome constructive dialogue.
