LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Vote for Matthew Barach Today

It is with great enthusiasm that I support Matt Barach's candidacy for the Sudbury School Committee in the March town election.

Matt is an active listener. He hears all sides, asks solid questions, and then suggests logical and creative solutions. I have witnessed Matt helping his clients solve difficult problems and developing new organizational systems when needed.  Matt believes in giving everyone a voice and supports 3-5. He works with a wide spectrum of our town – inspiring our town soccer players, negotiating as a trustworthy lawyer, and serving on the Land Acquisition Review Committee. Matt wants all Sudbury students to achieve their highest potential and he has the experience and knowledge to help Sudbury achieve this mission.

He is determined to help all children succeed. In the several years that I have known Matt, he has always made our community a better place. From the perspective of a friend, he is trustworthy. From the perspective of a public school teacher in an equally school-focused town, I have been impressed by Matt’s commitment to the children and their right to quality education. He will continue to build solid relationships with teachers, parents, and administration. Matt wishes to establish better connections between the elementary and high school teams to ensure smoother and more successful transitions to high school. Matt also wants to establish a technology infrastructure that supports appropriate access and maintenance and an end to the digital divide within our schools. He will earnestly participate as a School Committee Member who wants to help our children and their schools achieve their true potential.  

As a high school educator, a parent of young children, and a member of our community, I strongly recommend Matthew Barach for School Committee. Matt’s trustworthy manner and thoughtful dedication to doing what is best for our town’s children will help Sudbury's entire community thrive.
