LETTER TO THE EDITOR: We Believe in Matthew Barach

We write in support of the candidacy of Matthew Barach for the Sudbury Public School Committee. 

The education of children is one of the highest priorities of any community. This is certainly true for Sudbury and certainly true for those of us who have lived many years in Sudbury. 

We need leaders for our school system who have the wisdom, understanding and character to face and resolve, in a thoughtful, careful and intelligent manner, whatever issues, known and unknown, which may arise in our schools over the next three years and beyond. We need leaders for our school system who appreciate the importance of education and the need to use the tools of the 21^st Century to better educate our children and to prepare them for life in the future. 

Matthew Barach has the qualities of leadership needed for the SPS School Committee.  As a parent of school-age children, a soccer coach, a member of a Town board and in his professional work, Matthew knows the difficulties families, schools and the Town can face and how to resolve them. 

He appreciates the importance of leading edge technology and can work with others, no matter what their perspectives or views, to reach a good result for all in a fiscally responsible manner.
