LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Why I'm Voting for Scott Nassa
Resident Prema Matthews says Nassa will bring a refreshing approach to the Sudbury Public Schools Committee.
I am endorsing Scott Nassa for Sudbury Public Schools Committee (SPSC).
Scott has been a friend of mine since he moved to Sudbury. That is not why you should vote for him. Vote Scott Nassa for SPSC because he is the more qualified candidate for the position and the future of our town and schools depends on it.
Scott is responsible, accountable and dependable. In his announcement letter he has stated he will be available to all of us with office hours. This is a new and refreshing approach to the very people, the stakeholders, he is elected to serve and represent.

Scott has been extremely successful in his professional life as a businessman. We need a businessperson with a solid grasp of the economic responsibilities the SPSC holds to all of us. I am confident Scott will bring new, responsible ideas and methods for spending our hard-earned tax dollars where they will be most effective and prudently applied.
Scott will move forward with the K12 option. He will look closely at our successful neighbor, Concord-Carlisle, and ensure that educationally and financially we move forward in a manner that will serve all of his stakeholders: students, parents, teachers, taxpayers and administrators. For a change of this magnitude it is imperative we have a committee member who is familiar with successfully taking on large projects and the economic responsibilities that accompany such demands.

We are living in a crucial time for our entire town, and Sudbury Schools are at our center. Scott has proven he is an involved, active member of Sudbury, his business acumen beyond compare, and I am certain he is who we need to move forward and improve our schools.
To vote for Scott Nassa is to vote for our future. The alternative is simply more of the same.
