Lincoln-Sudbury Freshman Dies in Accident at Home
Superintendent Bella Wong sent out a message to the student body, faculty, and families of L-S Regional High School that Karl Harvey died.

SUDBURY, MA—Superintendent of Schools Bella Wong sent a message to students on Saturday announcing the death of a student who attended Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School.
Wong sent the following message to families and staff:
I am profoundly saddened to share with you that Karl Harvey, Class of 2020, passed away Friday evening. Despite best and immediate efforts by his family and emergency personnel, they were unable to revive him after an accident in his home.
Karl attended the Sudbury Public Schools since pre-Kindergarten and was well known to the community for his ubiquitously positive disposition toward all things. He was close to his family, really enjoyed playing the drums and loved being outdoors to fish, sail and to play with his dog, Charlie.
On the behalf of the Lincoln Sudbury community I extend our deepest sympathy and compassion to Karl’s family including his siblings Elise (’20), Amelia (’17) and Kayla (’13) during this time of grief for their terrible loss.
On Sunday, counseling services were available at the high school. Counselors will be present in classes on Monday. In addition, on Monday and throughout the week, any student or staff needing supports may visit staff in the house offices or clinical services department in B336, said Superintendent Wong.
