Lincoln-Sudbury High Junior in Spotlight as 'Class Act'

A L-S High student was the feature on WHDH-TV's 'Class Act' this week. Find out why.

This kid really stands out. A junior at Lincoln-Sudbury High School, 17-year-old Madison Marilla formed the Autism Awareness Club at her school. Diagnosed with autism herself at age 2, she tries to educate others about the disorder, helping kids and parents.

WHDH-TV put Marilla in the spotlight this week, featuring her as their “Class Act.”

“I got to the point where I want to mentor autistic kids because my mentors improved me so much,” she told WHDH-TV. “I wanted to give back, work with other kids with autism I could relate easily to them.”
