Lincoln-Sudbury High School Grad Dies at College
The former L-S student was found unresponsive in his dorm room at Bates College.

SUDBURY, MA -- A graduate of Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School died after being found unresponsive in his dorm room at Bates College in Lewiston, ME.
James Jhun, who graduated from L-S in 2012, was a senior at Bates, where he was found Sunday morning and transported to St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center and found dead, according to a spokesperson from the college.
The cause of death has not been determined, but officials are working to confirm it, said the Lewiston-Auburn Sun Journal. Lt. Mark Cornelio told the paper that the medical examiner would conduct an autopsy sometime next week.

Jhun was to graduate in May with a degree in environmental health, and was a citizen of the United States and South Korea.
“This is a terrible loss for his family and the entire Bates community and we are working hard to provide support to his family and friends at this difficult time,” said Bates spokesperson Kent Fischer. “We are profoundly sad and share the tremendous grief of his family.”
