Lincoln-Sudbury Students Will Go To MA All-State Music Festival

The Massachusetts Music Educators Association recently selected students from across the state to perform at three big music events.

SUDBURY, MA — Ten Lincoln-Sudbury High School students will perform this spring at Massachusetts Music Educators Association (MMEA), including a select few who will play in an all-state festival at Boston Symphony Hall.

The MMEA Junior and Senior festivals will be held in March, and the all-state festival will be held March 5 in Boston. Here are the Lincoln-Sudbury students who will perform:

MMEA Junior District Festival

  • Evan Labagnara, 9th grade — Trumpet, band
  • Andrew Simon, 9th grade — Viola, orchestra
  • Annika Zurn, 9th grade — Trombone, band

MMEA Senior District Festival

  • Shani Dar, 10th grade — Alto, chorus
  • Ian Huang, 10th grade — Violin, orchestra
  • Michelle Su, 9th grade — Violin, orchestra
  • Ainsley Sullivan, 9th grade — Alto, chorus
  • Rebecca Teng, 11th grade, Violin, orchestra
  • Richard Yao, 12th grade — Viola, orchestra
  • Yuan Zhuang, 9th grade — Double bass, orchestra
