Lincoln-Sudbury's DeNormandie Makes College Soccer Commitment

Revolution youth player to pursue college soccer career at Cincinnati.

New England Revolution Under-18 and Lincoln-Sudbury star Cole DeNormandie has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend and play soccer for University of Cincinnati.

DeNormandie is one of six Revolution youth players to make college commitments this year, with more expected to announce their decisions this spring.

“We are very proud that our players have reached decisions as to where to attend college as they prepare for the next phase of their soccer careers,” said Revolution Director of Youth Development Bryan Scales. “They are terrific young men and I expect that they will make a positive impact at these universities, both on and off the soccer field.”

DeNormandie earned high school All-American and All-Region I (New England) accolades from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) following last fall’s high school soccer season. He is also a two-time all-region and all-state honoree, and a two-time Eastern Mass. all-star.

Outside of regular training, both the Revolution U18s and U16s have a break from competition until early March when the Revs continue their third season in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy. Kicking off a series of home matches, the Revolution youth teams will play NJSA 04 at Gillette Stadium on Saturday, March 5. The team’s regular training schedule includes Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evening sessions at Gillette Stadium.
