Welcome to frosty Myers Field on the Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School campus as we await the opening kickoff for the EMass semifinal playoff game between host Lincoln-Sudbury and visiting Gloucester.
The Fighting Fishermen bring their perfect record and back-to-back Superbowl titles into tonight's matchup against the Warriors, who have developed one of the stingiest defenses in the region during the second half of the regular season.
Right now, with temperatures hovering in the upper 30s, the most popular people on campus are those selling hot chocolate.
We are waiting for the conclusion of the Shawsheen vs. Madison Park game. Shawsheen is in control as the fourth quarter begins, leading comfortably, 21-0.
For the second time in the last few days, the starting time for the nightcap changed. Kickoff is now slated for 7:45 p.m., according to L-S Athletic Director Nancy O'Neil.
We'll provide more once the game begins, so check back later!
