Many Sudbury Offices Moving to Summer Schedule This Week

Several Sudbury town officers are switching to a "Fridays off" summer schedule.

SUDBURY, MA—Many town offices will closed on Fridays, following a compressed summer schedule, starting July 11 through Aug. 26.

The employees will work extended hours on Monday through Thursday in order to close on Fridays.

The revised schedule only affects offices in Town Hall and the Flynn Building. All offices in these two buildings will be closed on Fridays from July 15 through Aug. 26. Offices will be open to serve the public with extended hours as follows:

Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Friday closed

  • Human Resources
  • Planning and Community Development
  • Selectmen/Town Manager
  • Tax Collector/Treasurer
  • Town Accountant
  • Town Clerk
  • Veterans’ Services (please check website for office hours)
The following offices will NOT be observing the summer schedule and will be operating on regular hours: Atkinson Pool, Board of Health, Building Department, Conservation, Council on Aging, Engineering, Fire Department, Goodnow Library, Highway Department, Information Systems, Police Department and Recreation Department.
