Maynard Man Faces OUI Charge in Sudbury

The following arrest information was supplied by the Sudbury Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A call to the Sudbury Police Department on Tuesday regarding a disabled motor vehicled ended in the arrest of a Maynard man.

According to Lt. Scott Nix, a car broke down on Concord Road at about 12:58 a.m.

After the responding officer completed an investigation, Daniel F. Cutter, 45, of 9 Charles St., was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of alcohol.

He was held until Framingham District Court opened Tuesday morning for his arraignment.

  • A North Road resident reported suspicious circumstances involving his laptop computer. The responding officer determined a virus from a porn site the resident was surfing infected the computer. The laptop froze with a message advising the resident to pay via a moneygram $300 to the Department of Justice.
  • Officers responded to Bearly Read Books for a three-car accident. One car was rear-ended, and the force of the collision sent that car into a parked car in the lot. One person was transported to MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham with minor injuries.
