More Candidates Enter Sudbury 2023 Election: 4 Competitive Races
Voters will have real choices in 2023 in Sudbury in races for Planning Board, the two school committees, select board and more.

SUDBURY, MA — Several more candidates have signaled their intent to run in the 2023 town election, creating more competitive races for a variety of elected positions.
There are now four potentially contested races after new candidates pulled papers over the last week to run for Planning Board, Goodnow Library Trustee and the Lincoln-Sudbury School Committee. Those candidates join others who already pulled papers to make select board race competitive.
Candidates still have to return papers to officially get on the March ballot. Here are the candidates who have pulled papers, with an (i) indicating incumbents and an (N) indicating candidates who pulled papers over the past week.
