Morse Road In Sudbury Closing For Construction

The closure will last all day Thursday and Friday, according to the public works department.

SUDBURY, MA — Drivers in Sudbury should plan to avoid roads north of the town center on Thursday and Friday due to a major road closure.

The Sudbury Department of Public Works will close Morse Road between Concord Road and Marlboro Road during daytime hours. Crews will be milling the roadway in preparation for a full repaving.

Local traffic will still be able to use Morse Road, but all other traffic will be detoured using Concord, Haynes and Marlboro roads. The work will be taking place on Thursday and Friday between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.

This week, Sudbury also closed Dutton Road over Hop Brook for a bridge replacement project. Only local traffic will be allowed between Pratts Mill Road and Hudson Road during construction.
