“We’re incredibly excited that Tiana decided to join IMPACT,” said Beth Concaugh, co-owner of IMPACT. “Our members expect workouts that challenge them both physically and mentally. Riel’s background as a field and track coach coupled with the fact that she’s a certified personal trainer, make her the perfect complement to our staff.”
Prior to this position, Riel most recently worked as a track and field coach from 2008 to 2013 at the Natick High School, Holliston High School, Huntsville (Ala.) High School, and at the University of Alabama. In 2009-2011, she worked as a personal trainer at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa; NorthRidge Fitness in Tuscaloosa; and at the Urban Active Fitness Club in Nashville, Tenn.

“I’m very excited to join the IMPACT family,” Riel said. “I believe in IMPACT’s mission that exercise can be enjoyable while driving results and look forward to making a positive difference in our members’ lives.”
In 2008, Riel graduated from Boston College with a BA in English and received the Athletic Directors Award for Academic Excellence, ACC Academic Honors. In 2011, she graduated from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa with a Masters in Sport Management.
“Tiana fits in well with the rest of the performance coaches we have on staff and she understands the influence a coach has on the overall experience a member has at our facility,” said Passamonte. “Coaches are the lifeblood of IMPACT; they are the ones that represent IMPACT day in and day out. We’re confident she will be able to deliver the right sort of mentorship and guidance that will resonate well with our members.”
