Old Lancaster Closed After Car Crashed Into Utility Pole
A vehicle slammed into a utility pole shortly before 8 p.m., shutting down the road and sending one to the hospital.

On Tuesday evening around 7:52 p.m., police received numerous 9-1-1 calls reporting a car crash on Old Lancaster Road near the Department of Public Works.
A car had hit a utility pole, causing extensive damage to the car, and also requiring Old Lancaster to be shut down.
The driver, who was the sole occupant in the car, was transported to Framingham MetroWest Hospital with non life-threatning injuries, said police.

Old Lancaster Road is expected to be shut down for an extended period in order to replace the damaged pole.
Necessary detours will be established but it is highly suggested you seek an alternate route, said police.
