Peter Noyes 3rd graders learn about food insecurity
Students walk from Town Center to the Sudbury Community Food Pantry

On a brisk fall morning, the Peter Noyes School 3rd grade walked from their school to the Sudbury Community Food Pantry to learn about food insecurity and how their community responds to this need. Upon arrival, students and Noyes staff heard Pantry volunteers explain how food is acquired, stored, stocked and distributed to 1,092 families living in Sudbury & 73 surrounding cities and towns. Volunteers thanked students for their support for Sudbury Public Schools’ monthly food drives that comprises a significant portion of the Pantry’s inventory.
