Hundreds Attend Sudbury Chanukah Celebration: Photos

The menorah lighting was held on Sunday, the first day of Chanukah, at the Chabad Center of Sudbury.

SUDBURY, MA — Sudbury kicked off eight days of Chanukah on Sunday with a menorah lighting ceremony at the Chabad Center of Sudbury.

More than 200 people attended the event, according to Chabad Center Rabbi Yisroel Freeman. The event included the lighting of a 9-foot menorah, a performance by Davey the Clown, music and holiday treats like latkes and donuts.

Chanukah, the Jewish festival of lights, began on Sunday and will conclude Monday.
