Police Help Winged Intruder Escape Sudbury Home

SUDBURY, MA—If you think the people didn't know what to do, think of how the bird felt. We don't know how he got in, or what he was looking for, but a woodpecker found its way into a residence on Hampshire Street on Tuesday morning.

Sudbury police, along with help from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Center, got the little flier out and back to his life of freedom.
