Police: Sudbury Woman Walks In Front of Framingham Cruiser
The woman, who was not in the crosswalk, was struck by the cruiser crossing Concord Street on Tuesday, March 31.

A Sudbury woman was transported to the hospital with minor injuries, after she was hit by a Framingham Police cruiser while trying to cross Concord Street, not in the crosswalk, on Tuesday, according to Framingham Police.
The Sudbury woman, in her 50s, walked between two parked cars , trying to cross Concord Street, near the Vietnamese restaurant downtown, explained Framingham Police Lt. Stephen Cronin.

A truck had stopped for traffic on Concord Street, and she stepped in front of the truck and then in front of the cruiser, said Lt. Cronin. The cruiser tried to avoid her, but still hit her, said Cronin.
The woman suffered no serious injuries, but was taken to the hospital for minor injuries, said Lt. Cronin.

The woman, whose names was not released, expressed to the police officers, it was her fault, said Lt. Cronin.
There was a crosswalk 106 feet from where she tried to cross Concord Street, said Lt. Cronin.
Framingham has an ordinance that requires pedestrians to use an crosswalk within 300 feet, added Lt. Cronin.
