Register for the Gobble, Wobble Race to Benefit SMILE

The third annual Gobble, Wobble for SMILE Massachusetts returns to Sudbury on Saturday, Nov. 22, starting and ending at the Curtis Middle School. This year includes both a 5K and 10K option, and proceeds benefit the beach wheelchair project at SMILE Mass. equipment loaner program.

For three summers, SMILE has donated 66 floating beach wheelchairs to public beaches on Cape Cod, Ipswich and Scituate.

“We have also created a Loaner Program for which we have purchased and will continue to purchase accessible equipment that we loan to families who need it,” it says on the SMILE website. “We will be increasing this program in the future with additional beach wheelchairs, bath chairs, joggers, bicycles, sleds, etc.”
