Sudbury police and firefighters used a drone and off-road vehicle to rescue the stranded hunter.

SUDBURY, MA — Sudbury police and firefighters mounted a rescue Thursday after a hunter's tree stand malfunction, leaving him hanging in the air.
The hunter called 911 from inside the Assabet Wildlife Refuge Thursday morning. Police said the hunter was left dangling about 3 feet off the ground after the malfunction.
Police used GPS to locate the man's phone, and then deployed a drone and the department's off-road vehicle to reach the hunter. It took about 15 minutes to find the hunter, and he was not injured, police said.
