SUDBURY, MA — A tree fell on a car along Route 20 early Friday morning, causing a collision that shut down both directions of the road. The incident happened near 8:30 a.m. close to the intersection of Brimstone Road. Passersby and the Sudbury Fire Department stopped to clear debris to reopen the roadway, according to Sudbury police. The driver of the car was injured in the incident, police said. Much of eastern Massachusetts was experiencing high wind gusts Friday morning.

Already winners of multiple competitions, they will perform the high-energy Concerto for Two Violins by Antonio Vivaldi, the spiky Concerto for Two Violins by Bronislav Martinu and the high-intensity, showpiece for two violins and orchestra, “Navarra,” by Pablo de Sarasate. You will be dazzled by their youthful energy and high-power virtuosity! With spring in the air, you'll be entertained by SPM's renditions of George Gershwin's Cuban Overture, An American in Paris, and "Walking the Dog," with clarinet solos by our outstanding principal clarinetist, Diego Bacigalupe. The Acton Historical Society invites you to tour the 1760 Jonathan Hosmer House and to view a collection of artifacts associated with Acton's history. Also on the property is an 1830's barn with an exhibit of agricultural tools, including an early fire pump and horse-drawn sleigh and farm wagon. Admission is free with donations accepted.
