Pedestrian Hit by Duck Boat in Boston
The female pedestrian is said to have non-life threatening injuries.
Boston, MA — A pedestrian was struck by a duck boat in Boston Sunday.
A call came in around 11:25 a.m. for the report of the incident at the corner of Newbury and Clarendon streets.
The female was "crossing contrary to the walk signal as the duck boat was turning left from Newbury onto Clarendon," police said in a statement. She came in contact with the vehicle and fell to the ground, suffering minor injuries.

She was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Roads in the area have reopened, and the scene has been cleared.

In May, 28-year-old Allison Warmuth was killed when a moped she was riding was struck by a duck boat at the intersection of Charles and Beacon streets. Her parents joined lawmakers in June, introducing a bill to increase safety requirements for duck boats.
