Sudbury Schools Canceled For A Second Day, Parking Ban Ends Tuesday Morning
Parts of Middlesex County have seen more than 15 inches of snow.
SUDBURY, MA — A major blizzard hit Massachusetts, and some cities and towns in Central Massachusetts saw more than a foot of snow.
Parts of Middlesex County have seen more than 15 inches of snow, as of 12:45 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. A state of emergency remains in effect across multiple counties in the state, and Sudbury took precautions ahead of the storm, including closing schools and public buildings.

"As the winter storm is expected to impact Sudbury, our DPW crews will be out around the clock treating and plowing roadways to keep them as safe and passable as possible throughout the storm. This will be a large, ongoing operation, and road conditions may change quickly as the storm progresses," the town wrote on its website. "We kindly ask residents to please be patient as crews work throughout the community. Rest assured, we will be doing everything we can to maintain operations for all emergency services."
Parking Ban
The town asked residents to stay off the roads and avoid on-street parking, as part of a Parking Ban that went into effect on Sunday at 10 p.m. Sudbury said it will remain in effect until Tuesday at 6 a.m.

All vehicles parked on-street would be ticketed and/or towed, according to the town.
School Closures
All Sudbury Public Schools and their offices will be closed on Tuesday, the school district announced on Monday. School custodians and the DPW will continue with snow removal and have schools ready to open on Wednesday, the school district said.
