With Slate Final, Sudbury LWV Plans Candidate Forums, Meet-And-Greet

SUDBURY, MA — The slate of candidates running in Sudbury's 2023 election was finalized Friday, and in 2023 there will be three contested races for seats on the select board, planning board and Goodnow Library board.

To prepare voters for the March 27 election, the League of Women Voters of Sudbury will arrange three ways for Sudbury residents to get acquainted with the candidates. The league is mounting a new effort for 2023: a candidate meet-and-greet coming up on March 12 at 2 p.m. at the Goodnow Library.

"Voters are welcome to stop by and talk with any of the candidates; there is no formal program," the Sudbury LWV said in a news release.

As usual, the league will publish a voter guide (available in mid-February) on its website, and will record forums for each race that will air throughout March on SudburyTV.

Here's the slate of candidates running in the 2023 Sudbury election. Each candidate returned the required number of signatures on Friday to the town clerk:
