SUDBURY, MA — Preliminary results released Tuesday in Sudbury's 2022 election are available, with local voters deciding local races on top of major statewide contests.

Here are the preliminary results from the Sudbury Town Clerk for contested races as of Tuesday night. These tallies do not include totals in some races that include communities outside Sudbury. For details on statewide Massachusetts results, check here.

Middlesex and Worcester state Senate

  • Anthony Christakis (R) — 2,395

U.S. House 5th District

  • Katherine Clark (i)(D) — 6,455
  • Caroline Colarusso (R) — 2,324

The following local candidates went unchallenged in 2022 and were reelected Tuesday

  • 3rd District Governor's Council Marilyn Devaney (D) —6,601
  • State Rep. Carmine Gentile (D) — 6,901

  • Middlesex Sheriff Peter Koutoujian (D) — 6,770
