Sudbury B-Ball Player Hits 1,000 Points at Suffolk

Senior Iliana Quadri of Sudbury is the 13th player in the program to reach 1,000 points.

Suffolk University may have lost that one, but a game against UMass Boston on Tuesday night became a historic one for one player, and the school.

Iliana Quadri, a senior from Sudbury, became the 13th player to hit 1,000 points in Suffolk’s women’s basketball program, reported The Suffolk Voice.

Quadri needed five points going into the game, and the guard hit that early in the second half. She ended with a team-high 12 points, and her career total is 1,007.

Quadri graduated from Lincoln-Sudbury High School in 2011, and was ranked no. 35 in the state.
