Sudbury Crime Stats: Fewer Breaks, More OUIs, in 2016
Sudbury police share statistics on crime for the past three years.

SUDBURY, MA — As part of our Sudbury police statistics series, Patch compares statistics in crimes from 2014 to 2016.
The following information was submitted by the Sudbury Police Department.
There were 27 breaking and entering incidents in 2014, going down slightly in 2015 to 23, and dipping drastically in 2016 to 10.
For motor vehicle stops, the number dipped from 2014 to 2105 - from 4,964 to 4,276. This, too, declined in 2016 to 3,769 stops. In 2014, police made 26 OUI arrests; in 2015, they made 20, and in 2016 police made 22 arrests.

Sudbury police responded to 758 alarms in 2014, 805 in 2015 and 843 in 2016. Medical aid assistance was requested on 816 occasions in 2014, rising to 957 in 2015, and dipping only slightly in 2016 to 917.
