Sudbury Fire and Police Host Public Safety Day

Get some safety tips, and check out the town's vehicles. Plus, free pizza!

The Sudbury fire and police departments, in conjunction with National Fire Prevention Week, are hosting a town Public Safety Day on Saturday, Oct. 4, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Fire Headquarters, 77 Hudson Road.

The goal of this open house is to teach families about Sudbury’s safety services.

Participants get safety tips from both departments, and numerous police, fire and rescue vehicles are on display. There will be an auto extrication demonstration and safety handouts.
