Sunday, May 13
Dodgers 11, Diamondbacks 8
Diamondbacks and the Dodgers battled back and forth but the Dodgers came out on top. Dodgers’ Brendan Walsh had a two run double, Will Maloney had an RBI, Lars Hjerpe had 2RBI and pitched an effective inning (0 earned runs), Sinjin Ledbetter had a hit, pitched two innings (4K), Wilson Sneath had a hit and pitched two innings (5K’s). The Diamondbacks offense was provided by Nathan Baglin (2B,1B,1R), Brendan Meehan (2B, RBI, 1R), David Rowe (2B,1B,1R), Jack MacLean (2B,2RBI's,2R), Jimmy O'Connor (2B,2RBIs,1R) and Ben Ohler and Jack Crawley each adding a hit and a run scored. Leading the pitching for the Diamondbacks: Jimmy O'Connor (2IP,5Ks),Brendan Meehan(2IP,5Ks), Jack MacLean(1K),Ben Ohler (1K).

Pirates 16, Braves 11,
The Pirates take the win after a great game on Sunday afternoon against the Braves. Pirates’ balanced offense was led by Charlie Murphy (3-5,4RBI) and Jack Garrity(4-4,4RBI,HR).Jason Lyons continues a hot hitting streak(3-4 3RBI). Steady Pirates pitching from Jake Leverone (2IP,3K’s),Murphy (2IP,3K’s) and strong defense led by Ryan Cullen,Grant Cormier,Ethan Weber,Vin Fortunato,and Finn Garrity. For the Braves, Adam Howard led the offense with 2 hits, including a triple.Jack Folz, Sam Anderson, Adam Bradford each had 2 hits. Adam Bradford and Jack Folz pitched 2 innings each.
Saturday, May 12
Astros 14, Pirates 13
A competitive back and forth game, the Astros coming out on top in this game. Astros were paced by Aidan Cavanaugh (3 for 4,1RBI,4Rs) and James Ewing (3 for 3,3RBI,1R) closed out the game with a great play from the mound to get the final out at first. Sam Gray (3-3,3RBI,1R), Cam Stein, Eric Feng (1-3,2R), Jack Gray (2-4,2R) were all strong at the plate. Jayden Cormier, Michael Cavanaugh anchored the defense with excellent infield play. Pirates pitching was led by Andrew Cahill (3IP,4K’s),Grant Comrie and Finn Garrity. Great base running kept the Pirates in the game with Jake Leverone, Vincent Fortunato, and Ethan Webber scoring many runs for the Pirates. Outstanding hitting from Jack Garrity,Charlie Murphy, Nathan Soukup and a deep triple from Jason Lyons almost brought the Pirates back in the bottom of the 6th.

Athletics 10, Rays 6
Offensively, Ryan Mulcahey had three hits and two RBIs; Ranen Leung and Tyler Durkin both scored two runs each for the Rays. Alec Keilen added three hits and two innings of solid pitching.
Rockies 15, Diamondbacks 10
Rockies won with solid pitching and timely hitting. Rockies’ pitchers: Quinn Meyerson (2IP,0ER,1 hit,1BB,5Ks), Simon Perry (2IP,1ER,0hits,3BB,5Ks), Aidan Prendergast (1IP,3ER,1hit,1BB,1K), and Matt Joachim (1IP, 0ER,0hits,2BBs,2 Ks). Ethan Sussman led the Rockies hitting with a double that drove in one run in the 2nd and a triple that drove in two more in the 6th. Keith Lucier hit a 2RBI double in the 1st and drove in three runs total. Aidan Lee had two hits on the day and drove in three runs. Diamondbacks’ Lucas Allen led the pitching with 3 solid innings (4K's) and David Rowe (2K). On offense, Brendan Meehan's long bases clearing double (3 hits,3RBI's,1run), Lucas Allen (2B,1B,2RBIs,3 runs), Ben Ohler (2b) and David Rowe (3 runs).
Brewers 18, Braves 13
The Brewers scored 18 runs as all 11 players reached base and 9 scored. Offensive standouts included Will Hardwick (1B,2BB,3R),Ari Roth (1B,BB,2R),Chris Steilein (2B),Josh Brener (1B,2BB,3R) and Will Dale who reached based four times and hit a home run. John Dale, Will Dale, Jonah Gold, Josh Brener all provided solid pitching. For the Braves, Nicholas Bettenhauser pitched two solid innings with 5 strikeouts and no runs allowed. Adam Bradford went 3 for 4,Ryan Richards went 3 for 4. Adam Howard and Johnny Oblak had 2 hits each.
Twins 10, Orioles 6
A well-played game by both teams. Twins’ Sean Carney (3IP,9K,2-3,2 runs scored), Max Boone, Zac Roth and Michael MacKinnon held off the Orioles offensive attack. Stephen Kossuth (1-2,2B,2RBI,1 run scored), Jimmy MacKinnon (2 runs scored), Eamon O'Malley (1RBI), Shane George(1-2) and Ben Winters paced the Twins attack. Spencer Bernard, Jack Urdang had strong defensive games for the Twins. Orioles fought hard: Alex Kelly, Henry Stowell, Jack Hallal, Katheryn Kimble and Jason Mead all scored during the game.Drew Noble, who filled in, hit an in the park home run. Jack Dorsey, Henry Stowell and Jason Mead combined to strike out 10 batters in 5 innings.
Marlins 6, Reds 4
The game came down to the wire as the Reds had one player thrown out at the plate in the bottom of the 6th and left men stranded on 2nd & 3rd to end the game. The Marlins led on the mound with James Bernene (2IP,0R,4Ks), Justin Lombardi (2IP,2Ks) and Zachary Hochberg (2IPs,4Ks). Ippolit Matjucha hit a bases loaded triple and was a home run short of hitting for the cycle (3-3,1 run scored, 4RBIs). Reds’ Liam McCarthy(2 hits),Bennett Smart reached base 3 times. Anil Lele & Nico Andolino each pitched 3IP with 5 Ks.
Dodgers 11, Rangers 4
In a late inning comeback, the Rangers scored 4 runs in the 4th but it was not enough to win. The rally was sparked by back to back hits from Jack Ginand (1hit,2RBIs), Matt Becker (1hit,1RBI).The pitching of Dylan Goldman, Matt Becker,David Marshand combined for ten strikeouts, keeping the game close until late. Ryan Rahbany (2 run double,2 singles) Sinjin Ledbetter(RBI single), William Maloney(2RBIs), Alex Kilroy (1RBI single). Defensively LG Bascones had two terrific plays in the field, pitched 1 and 1/3 innings, Jacob Pentz pitched two innings of 1 run ball, Brendan Walsh pitched 1 and 2/3 innings of no run ball.

Friday, May 11
White Sox 7, Rays 6
White Sox edged out the Rays Friday night. The Rays’Brett Siegal and Jack Hankey had two hits each, both scoring runs in the 2nd inning. Tyler Durkin scored twice and pitched two solid innings for the Rays. Brett Siegal made two excellent defensive plays at 3rd base in the 4th with a diving stop to grab a hard hit ball, tagging to get the third out of the inning. Charlie Desmarais had three hits, scored three of the White Sox runs.
Athletics 5, Tigers 4
Tied 1-1 after 4 innings, Athletics scored four runs in the 5th. Tigers fought back with three more runs in the bottom of the 5th but couldn’t close the gap. Drew Nobile, Matt Allor,Kyle Hammond pitched five strong innings for the Athletics along with key slugging from Drew Nobile, Matt Allor,Jack Bull. Tigers’ defense remained strong with a 3rd base play by Rory Carpenter, a double play from Teddy Durant to Jamie Sampson-Lizotte. Nick Emerson, Ryan Lutz,Will Houser pitched strong to start the game. Tigers’ had strong offense from Cole Ward, Dan Guzzi and Will Houser.
Thursday, May 10
Pirates 11, Rockies 7
After a close start, Pirates offense came alive in the 3rd inning. Pirates’Jack Garrity(3 for 4,1HR) hit a thunderous shot to center field for a two run home run. Also contributing were Vincent Fortunato (3 for 4) and Nathan Soukup (2 for 4).Ryan Cullen, Ethan Webber provided solid pitching in front of great defense from Finn Garrity,Grant Comrie, Jason Lyons,Jake Leverone. The Rockies made a game of it in the last inning, scoring six runs, with Quinn Meyerson (1 for 2),Matt Joachim (3 for 3),Emmet Klein (2 for 3) all contributing RBI singles. Klein pitched two solid innings the start the game with 4 strikeouts.

Brewers 11, Diamondbacks 9
Trailing 9 to 3, the Brewers came back with five runs in the 4th, three in the 5th : a walk off home run by Will Dale and singles by Ari Roth, John Dale. 4th inning rally included key hits by Jonah Gold and Alden Young. John Dale and Will Dale each pitched two strong innings. Diamondbacks jumped to a lead in the 1st with Jack MacLean hitting a double and Jimmy O'Connor hitting a two-run homer. Leading the offense was MacLean (3hits,2R,RBI), O'Connor (2 hits, 3 RBI, 2R), David Rowe (2 hits). Jack Crawley, Brendan Meehan each scored 2 runs. Ben Ohler led the pitching, striking out 4 in 3 innings.
Blue Jays 13, Rangers 6
Blue Jays overcame 2-0,4-3 deficits rallying to a 13-6 victory.Tim Duffy pitched scoreless 4th, 5th innings with defensive help from Nick Carter (unassisted double play at 1st base in the 4th),Timothy Follmer (grabbed a hard grounder at 2nd in the 5th). Strong offensive by Carter drove in 2Rs based loaded single, Ryan Immerman hit a long triple and had aggressive base running. In the 4th,Luke Geel open up the lead: Duffy, Geel, Follmer, and Carter Hayden each scored twice.The Rangers offense was paced by Kirsten Kelly (2RBIs,2SB), Matt Becker (2H,3SB, 1RBI), Jack Ginand (2H,2RBI),Chris Warren (1H,1RBI,1SB).Randy Ziffer (1H,1SB) made a great catch in right field. Pitchers Jack Ginand (2IP,3Ks),Matt Becker (2IP,3Ks),Chris Warren (2IP,3Ks) kept the Blue Jays close until the 4th.
Astros 10, Reds 9
This was a close game! Astros pulled out a win in the bottom of the 6th as Stu Lustig (3BB,1R,1RBI) worked a bases loaded walk to drive in the winning run. Reds' offense came alive with 16 hits, led by Liam McCarthy (3-3,2b), Colby Cataldo (3-3) and Nico Andolina (2-3, 3 RBI). Asher Martin-Rosenthal, Peter Cannon had two hits apiece. Astros' offense was led by Jack Gray who went two for three, a double and a home run, Jullian Flack (2-4,1RBI,1R),Sam Gray (2-3,1RBI,1R),Michael Cavanaugh (1-3,1BB,2RBI) all outstanding hitting.John Farren, Cam Stein and Eric Feng each scored a run. Jayden Cormier, Aidan Cavanaugh (1-2,1R) pitched well in relief of Jack Gray to get the win.
