Sudbury Police To Host Public Safety Day Event
The Sudbury Police Association is promising "fun, food, games" during the early August event.
SUDBURY, MA — The Sudbury Police Association (SPA) is planning a family-friendly "public safety day" event for early August.
The event will include food and games — including a dunk tank where attendees will get the chance to sink an officer. This is the SPA's first public safety day event.
The event will take place Aug. 3 at the Fairbank Community Center beginning at 6 p.m., according to the association.

SPA is a charitable and community outreach organization run by current and former Sudbury police officers. SPA typically handles the annual Toys for Tots drive, and fundraiser sporting events, including hockey matches between police and firefighters.
