Sudbury Public Schools Closed Monday For Professional Day

A messy winter storm moved into the Subdury area Sunday afternoon, but there wouldn't be school on Dec. 2 anyway.

SUDBURY, MA — Many school districts across Massachusetts are canceling classes Monday due to a nasty winter storm. But school in Sudbury will be closed anyway because of a planned professional day.

The messy storm could drop more than 12 inches of snow in the area by Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service. In general, areas north of the Mass Pike will get higher accumulations, according to forecasts.

The school district had not made a determination about school on Tuesday. We will update this story as soon as that information is available.
