Sudbury Resident Celebrates 100th Birthday With Local, State Honors
A Sudbury resident received local and state recognition Wednesday as she marked a major birthday milestone.
SUDBURY, MA — A Sudbury resident received local and state recognition Wednesday as she marked a major birthday milestone.
Rose Mary Manfredi was presented with proclamations from the Sudbury Select Board and the Massachusetts House of Representatives at her home to celebrate her 100th birthday. Sudbury Senior Center Director Nickole Boardman and Assistant Director/Outreach Coordinator Jill Dube helped present the honors to Manfredi.
Mandredi also celebrated with family, photos from her birthday gathering, balloons and a small cake.

The Sudbury Select Board proclamation honored Manfredi’s 100th birthday and said she reached the milestone on April 20, 2026, according to the Select Board.
Boardman requested the proclamation, which was listed on the board’s June 16 consent calendar, according to the meeting materials.

Manfredi welcomed the visit and expressed appreciation for the work to coordinate the proclamations, according to information shared about the celebration.
