Sudbury Student Inducted into Lasell College Chapter of Psi Chi

Shelley Hawkins of Sudbury was inducted into the Lasell College chapter of the International Honor Society in Psychology, Psi Chi, during a ceremony in May, said an announcement.

Hawkins, a member of the 2016, is a Human Services major at Lasell College located in Newton.

To become a member of Psi Chi students must be in the top 35% of their class (for GPA) and have a minimum GPA of 3.5 in their psychology classes. They also must have taken a minimum of 9 course credits within psychology and either major or minor in a psychology-related field. At Lasell, human services majors are also eligible because of the number of psychology classes required to complete their human services major.
