Sudbury Swim and Tennis Club won the Minuteman Swim League Championships

Congratulations to three SS&T swimmers who broke SCM League records.

SUDBURY, MA—The Sudbury Swim and Tennis Club won the Minuteman Swim League Championships on Saturday, Aug. 6, against Codman, Thoreau, Greenwood, Concord Country Club, and Burlington. Congratulations to Head Swim Coach Sabrina Particelli and assistant coaches Meredith Ackley, Alex Brindisi, Anthony Foscolos, Charlotte Hogan, Jake Hogan, Caroline Kenny, Andrew Wilkins and Chris Wilkins, who led the team to an undefeated 2016 Summer season.

Congratulations to three SS&T swimmers who broke SCM League records.

Freddie Borg broke two league records – the Boys 13-14 100 IM (1:09:43) and the Boys 13-14 50 Breaststroke (34:06). The old 100 meter IM record was 1:15:18 and set in 2010, and the old 50-meter Breast record was 36:84 and set in 1996. Lorelei Hogan broke the Girls 6& Under 12 meter Freestyle (9:75). The old record was 10:27 and set in 2010. Sophia Brindisi broke the Girls 13-14 50 meter Breaststroke (36:78). The old record was 39:18 and set in 2010.
