Sudbury T-Ball Kicks Off This Weekend With Ceremony

This weekend, the youngest of the Sudbury Youth Baseball League start their season.

SUDBURY, MA—Between the two programs in Sudbury Youth Baseball's T-ball league, there are approximately 160 kids and 40 coaches that will descend upon the field to kick off their season.

Sudbury Youth Baseball ushers in the warm spring weather with T-Ball opening day Saturday, April 29, at Curtis Middle School, starting at 9 a.m. and running through 10:30 a.m.

More than 100 kindergarten students from across Sudbury start off the season with the Bardsley first pitch ceremony. Over the next eight weeks, these students will learn the basic skills of throwing, catching and hitting, and build upon their experience with organized baseball. The players will also participate in friendly practice games Monday evenings at Lower Featherland.
