Sudbury Teachers Will Hold Rally Over New Contract
The Monday rally will be held at the town common beginning in the afternoon.
SUDBURY, MA — Teachers in Sudbury will hold a rally Monday afternoon over an ongoing contract dispute with the school district.
The teachers have been without a contract with Sudbury Public Schools since August. The teachers last rallied on Nov. 2 at Curtis Middle School over the issue.
The Sudbury School Committee has been meeting in closed session with in preparation to negotiate the new teachers' contract throughout November. The committee is also bargaining with education support professionals, nurses and custodians over new contracts.

The rally will begin at 3:30 p.m. on the Sudbury town common along Route 27 and will feature speeches from teachers and Sudbury Education Association union president Melissa Morabito.
