Sudbury Town Offices Switching To Summer Schedule

Most Sudbury town offices will soon be closed on Fridays through the end of August.

SUDBURY, MA — Most Sudbury Town Hall offices will move to a summer schedule after the July 4 weekend.

Starting July 11, all but the IT, select board and town manager's offices will be closed on Fridays through Aug. 26. The Town Clerk will also be closed Fridays, but will return to full five-day-per-week service earlier on Aug. 14.

The departments closing on Fridays include the assessor, human resources, planning and community development, tax collector, treasurer, town accountant and veterans' services.

To offset the Friday closures, Town Hall will be open longer hours during other weekdays: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays' and 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesdays.

Departments like police, fire, the Goodnow Library, Health Department and parks facilities will remain on a regular schedule.
