Sudbury July 4 Parade Canceled Due To Coronavirus

Sudbury is not alone in canceling July 4 festivities. Natick and even the city of Boston have canceled.

This wonderful Sudbury tradition has been run by the Sudbury Chamber of Commerce for decades and it is with great disappointment we are announcing that the 2020 4th of July Parade is canceled due to the COVID-19 global pandemic.

After much discussion, thought and consideration, the Sudbury Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the Parade Committee have decided that this is the right thing to do. This is a public health decision. Large scale crowds and social distancing will be impossible to avoid, and our main priority is to keep our community safe.

We know this is disappointing and we would like to thank everyone for their understanding, and we look forward to a bigger and better parade in 2021.

Our best wishes and regards,
